By air to Bristol Airport - The easiest route is to take a taxi from the airport, 20 miles. Or take the Bristol Airport Flyer bus to Temple Meads Station, change for Bristol Parkway, and then taxi to the hotel.
By car - The hotel is just off Junction 16 of the M5 and is 13km from Bristol city centre.
By rail - Bristol has two rail stations; Bristol Temple Meads (city centre) and Bristol Parkway, Hatchet Road, Stoke Gifford, Bristol, BS34 8PU. Trains between the two are frequent and it takes 17 minutes. Taxis are available at Bristol Parkway and the journey takes c10-15 mins.

Free parking for our attendees, pm Thursday to noon on Sunday, otherwise it is £6 per day. There are 3 electric charging points.

Travelling to St Michael’s Centre, North Road, Stoke Gifford, Bristol, BS34 8PD.

By air - Take the Bristol Airport Flyer to Bristol Temple Meads rail station (37minutes), then the connecting rail service to Bristol Parkway station. St Michael’s Centre is only a few hundred metres away, along a flat access path.
By car - Stoke Gifford is on the northern edge of Bristol, a few minutes’ drive from the M4, the M5 and the M32 motorways.
By train - See above for directions from Bristol Parkway to the Centre.
By bus - St Michael’s Centre is a 5-minute walk from two bus stops. 10, 19, 19A, 73, 77, 82, X5, X73, 3B, 625 and S7C.

By car - There is only disabled parking at the centre.
By Taxi - Travelling by taxi is the easiest option for those without a car. Taxi information will be available from our Welcoming Team who will be around to assist you. The Hotel uses Veezu cabs 0117 925 26 26. We encourage you to share taxis with other attendees to share costs. Single journey approx. £20.

Parking at St Michael’s Centre

Blue Badge holders and disabled access - there are parking places right outside the building.
Other visitors - Bristol Parkway Station car park is very close. Plentiful spaces, and 2 electric vehicle charging points. There is a signposted walkway from the station site entrance, through St Michael’s churchyard and across the village green to the Centre.

St Michael’s Centre – Access Information

  • Designated parking spaces for orange badge holders, affording easy access to the front entrance.
  • A ramp from the car park to the main entrance.
  • A ramp from the foyer to outside door of Lower Hall where lunch will be taken.
  • A quiet desk for welcome and registration with sunflower lanyards available if needed.
  • A lift from the upper floor to foyer and on to lower floor to the first floor, max capacity of three persons. There will be assistance available from reception in case of problems using the lift.
  • Reserved seats for people with limited mobility in the auditorium. Please don’t take seats in the upper balcony as there are stairs to negotiate.
  • Wheelchair accessible breakout area is in the Lower Hall.
  • Wheelchair accessible toilets.
  • Tables and desks with wheelchair clearance.
  • Two wheelchairs available to use.
  • Tactile signage.
  • A hearing loop system, available on the right-hand side of the auditorium.
